Side Effects of Prolonged Use of Blood Magick?

I have always used blood in my magick, ceremonial, high or otherwise except for when I first started. I have noticed that using blood seems to amplify the effects of my craft. At times, the effects of said blood magick get a bit out of control, and have unexpected/ unintentional results. From mortal harm to people, to the physical world being changed. Books have literally flied off shelves, fires have burst, and my voice has come from places that I'm not standing when I speak. I'm a reasonable person, and if others hadn't been with me when all of these things occurred, I'd either think it was coincidental or I was going insane. On top of that, I have grown increasingly awareness in my dreams to things that have happened to other people and are going to come to pass. When I first began my journey, I was summoning an entity which I had been given instructions how to summon in a dream, entities named Lilith and Samael. Yes, I know who that is but I didn't then. The effects were disastrous. I thought I had rid myself of that experience, but I am wondering if that rite may have a lasting effect. Or does anyone know of any side-effects of prolonged use of blood magick?
