Would you go get this gift?

In my opinion, its rude for them to say " tell her to come get it",as if you asked them for something...They offered,they promised....as a gift, and their daughter-in-law, who gave them a grandson, I feel they should bring it to you.I also find it odd that they keep putting it off, I am with you when you say,if you dont get it this week, just forget it.Thats sending the message that you realize they are being rude and dragging their feet, and no one deserves to be strung along.....more so your sons wife and grandchilds mother.
