What is the biggest carb I can ftit on a 302 in a 84 mercury capri?

Physically speaking, with the right intake manifold you can bolt on as big a carb as you want, but it won't do you any good to put more fuel down the motor then it can burn. Even with headers, a cam, high compression pistons etc. a 600cfm should be plenty.
