A question on Asperger's?

I am almost 19 years old, male. I was just recently diagnosed with Asperger's, but had it since I was 3. I heard mercury poisoning from Vaccines can cause aspergers as a child. If that is the case with me, am I ok? Would I have died by now? Can i lead a normal life? I am almost 19 years old, and heard mercury poisoning kills almost instantly. I also suffer from things like anxiety, heart palpitations, lower back pain, etc... All issues I heard can arise from mercury poisoning.
